    USING THE WAND TOOL STORAGE Remove the hose from the hose base as shown. Store the tools on the vacuum when not in use.     OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS HOW TO START • Plug the power cord into an electricity outlet. • The cord is stored on the cord wrap on the back • Start or stop vacuum cleaner by pushing on the side of the vacuum. Unwrap the desired power switch with your foot.

    VACUUMING TIPS TO UNLOCK FROM UPRIGHT POSITION Press the position lever to unlock the vacuum from the upright position. SUGGESTED SWEEPING PATTERN For best cleaning action, the floor brush should be pushed straight away from you and pulled straight back. At the end of each pull stroke, the direction of the nozzle should be changed to point into the next section to be cleaned.

    VACUUM CARE REMOVING CLOGS The vacuum cleaner creates suction that picks up dirt. Rapidly moving air carries the dirt to the dust canister through the airflow passages. The dust canister lets the air pass through, while it traps the dirt. For best cleaning results keep the airflow passage open.

    CLEANING BRUSH BAR ROLLER REMOVING THE BRUSH BAR ROLLER 1. Remove the five screws that hold the brush roller base plate in place as shown. 4. Remove the brush bar roller from the belt assembly by pulling the belt towards you and sliding the brush bar out.

    REINSTALLING THE BRUSH BAR ROLLER DO NOT operate without brush bar brush installed. Reinstall the brush bar roller by inserting the left side of the roller through the belt and into the roller guides. Replace the five screws that hold the brush roller Slide the right side of the brush bar roller into the base plate in place as shown.

    TROUBLESHOOTING Review this table to find do-it-yourself solutions for minor performance problems. Any other service needed should be performed by a qualified service agent. WARNING!
