CONNECTION TO THE COMPUTER

Before connecting the Dimâge RD 3000 to your computer, be sure to turn off
both the computer and the Dimâge RD 3000. Connecting the Dimâge RD
3000 to the computer while the power is on could result in damage to both
devices.
• To turn off the Dimâge RD 3000, turn the Main Switch/Mode Selector dial to Off.
CONNECTING THE CAMERA TO YOUR PC
Open the Dimâge RD 3000 con-

nector cover.
Attach the 50-pin Wide SCSI

cable connector to the Dimâge
RD 3000 SCSI connector, and
press firmly until the connector
clicks into place.
WHEN THE DIMÂGE RD 3000 IS
YOUR ONLY SCSI DEVICE:
Attach the open end of the con-

nector cable to the SCSI host
adapter.
WHEN THE DIMÂGE RD 3000 IS THE
FINAL DEVICE ON A SCSI CHAIN:
Remove or render inactive the
3
present terminator, and attach
the open end of the connector
cable to the SCSI connector that
had been used for the terminator.
