WHEN THE CAMERA PANEL DOES NOT OPEN
When the computer is unable to detect a connection to the Dimâge RD 3000,
the following error message dialog box opens.
In such a case, perform the following troubleshooting operations:
Click the OK button to close the error message dialog box.

Click the Close button in the upper right corner of the Digita Desktop

control panel to close the application. Mac users should click Exit on
the File menu.
Check the following:

• Is the SCSI cable connected properly? (see page 30)
• Has the SCSI cable separated from a connector?
• Has the SCSI cable been cut or damaged?
• Is the SCSI ID number allotted to the Dimâge RD 3000 already in use by another
SCSI device? (see page 24)
• Has the terminator been properly supplied with power? (see page 26)
• Did you turn on the Dimâge RD 3000 before turning on your PC? (see page 36)
• Did you set the Dimâge RD 3000 to PC connect mode before turning on your PC?
(see page 36)
• Has a CF card been inserted into the Dimâge RD 3000? (see page 31)
After verifying that all of the above have been performed properly, fol-

low the instructions on pages 36 to 42, open the Digita Desktop control
panel, and once again connect to the Dimâge RD 3000.
