Instrument Operation Instructions and Product Registration
As a part of AMETEK Brookfield's sustainability initiative, we have now moved to a digital download format for
instrument operation instructions (manuals). For a free download to obtain your manual, simply follow the
steps below:
• Access the 'Manuals' section of the AMETEK Brookfield online store navigation bar using the following
link or QR code: https://store.brookfieldengineering.com/manuals/
- For customers outside of the US, you may need to access your regional
AMETEK Brookfield online store.
• Sign in to the online store to access your account.
- You may need to create a free account if you do not have one already.
• Navigate to your instrument.
• Download your manual by using the link provided.

Instrument Setup
• Unpack the instrument. For more information, see the
unpacking instructions or refer to the user manual.
• If load cell is in carrying case, remove and insert under
the beak cavity, plug in the USB and secure the load
cell with the Allen wrench provided (found in the case
with the load cell(s)).
• If purchased, install base table in accordance with the
instruction sheet that is enclosed with the base table.
• Plug in the power cord and turn on the instrument.
• Next, adjust the beak to the desired height by
selecting the "adjust beam" button next to "start/stop"
on the front panel. Use the Up/Down arrows to adjust
the beam to the desired height. Then, press the back
button.
