Descaling Rinsing with very hard water (e.g. caused by seasonal fluctuations in water hard- ness, maintenance errors) can lead to unsightly limescale build-ups inside the ma- chine which, apart from a negative visual effect (white, rough deposits), have little further influence on the washing result. However, lime deposits on the wash tank heating elements and in the booster heater for the final rinse water are much more serious.
