Printing with Your SuperScript 660
You can preserve this information by using the
SuperScript Print Manager to keep the PCL inter-
preter active.
1. From the Windows Program Manager, double-
click on the NEC SuperScript Printer Manager
icon in the NEC SuperScript Tools group.
2. Minimize the SuperScript Print Manager to an
icon, if desired.
3. Download macros or soft fonts using the
downloading utility provided by your fonts.
4. Start or return to your application and print your
document.
This will preserve your downloaded fonts and
macros. Also, if your next print job uses PCL, it will
take less time to print because the SuperScript PCL
interpreter is already loaded. However, if you switch
from PCL to GDI mode, this information will be
lost, just as if you were changing printer languages in
a conventional printer.
