- Page 4 Inserting the Batteries The label maker uses 4 high- capacity AA alkaline batteries to provide optimal print quality. To insert the batteries 1 Lift to open the cover. 2 Insert the batteries following the polarity markings (+ and –). 3 Close the cover. Safety Precautions Do not mix old and new batteries.
