Overview Overview General information Installation of a gas-fired heating system must be performed in accordance with the applicable regulations and guidelines. It is therefore the duty of the installer to be familiar with all applicable regulations and re- quirements. Installation, start-up and maintenance must be performed with utmost care. The burner must not be operated in rooms with high levels of air humidity (laundry rooms), dust or corrosive vapours.

Funktion Control box LME Testing the control unit for proper functioning Danger of fatal injury from electric shocks! Disconnect electrical cable from power supply before carrying out any work on live parts! Troubleshooting may only be carried out by authorised and trained per- sonnel! Unlocking may only be carried out by an autho- rised specialist.

Funktion Key: ..Permanent Green Yellow Safety and switching functions In the event of a flame failure during operation, the fuel supply is immediately switched off and the control box goes into fault mode. A restart takes place in all cases following a mains power failure. A fault is trig- gered immediately if there is flame detection during pre-ventilation.

Start-up Air damper actuator STA The STA 13 B0 servomotor is used to adjust air dam- pers on burners with 2-stage or modulating operation. The setting is made via limit switch cams on the actua- tor roller. The servomotor moves to the air shut-off position (ST0) after each control switch-off.

Start-up Adjustment tables The values given in the tables are only setting values for commissioning. The system settings re- quired in each case must be redetermined if data such as boiler output, calorific value and altitude differ. In any case, readjustment is necessary depending on the system. The maximum output of the burner can only be achieved in the mixing head position pos.

Start-up Calculation principle for gas burner adjustment The values given in the tables are setting values for start-up. The necessary system adjustment must be newly determined in each case. General: The calorific value (H ) of fuel gases is generally specified for the normal state (0°C, 1013 mbar).

Service instructions / dimensions Flame monitoring with ionisation monitoring If an alternating voltage is applied between the burner and the ionisation bar, a direct current flows using the rectifying effect of the flame. This ionisation current forms the flame signal and is amplified and trans- mitted to the control unit.
