Check that the electrodes and
spark plug (2) insulator do not
show traces of carbon deposits
and or corrosion. If required,
clean them using a jet of com-
pressed air.
If the spark plug (2) shows cracks on the
insulator, corroded electrodes, excessive
deposits, or if the top of the central elec-
trode has become rounded, the spark
plug must be replaced.
IMPORTANT
USE RECOMMENDED SPARK PLUGS
ONLY. USING A SPARK PLUG OTHER
THAN SPECIFIED MIGHT COMPRO-
MISE ENGINE PERFORMANCE AND
LIFE. TO CHECK THE GAP BETWEEN
THE ELECTRODES, USE A FEELER
GAUGE.

Contrôler que les électrodes et
l'isolant de la bougie (2) soient
décalaminés ou de signes de
corrosion ; le cas échéant, les
nettoyer avec un jet d'air com-
primé.
Si la bougie (2) présente des fissures sur
l'isolant, des électrodes corrodées, de la
calamine en excès ou le sommet de
l'électrode centrale est arrondi, il faut la
remplacer.

TRE LES PRESTATIONS
DURÉE DE VIE DU MOTEUR. POUR
CONTRÔLER LA DISTANCE ENTRE
LES ÉLECTRODES, UTILISER UN CA-
LIBRE D'ÉPAISSEUR DU TYPE À FIL.
Contrôler la distance entre les
électrodes avec un calibre
d'épaisseur du type à fil.
