CHANGING
THE HEADLIGHT BULBS
Carefully read p. 62 (BULBS).
The headlight contains:
√ Two low/high beam bulbs.
√ One parking light bulb (two parking light

bulbs
).
To ch an ge the b ul bs , pro ce ed as
follows:
Remove the front cover, see p. 53
(REMOVING THE FRONT COVER).
Unscrew and remove the screws (1) and
take the washers.
Remove
the
air
conveyor
withdrawing it from the upper pins.
NOTE
Do not remove the protection
element (3) completely, since it is fixed to
the headlight body with two rivets.
By lifting the upper fastening tang, move
the protection element (3) with your hands.
LOW BEAM BULBS/HIGH BEAM BULBS
(HALOGEN)
!
CAUTION
To extract the bulb electric connector,
do not pull its electric wires.
Grasp the bulb electric connector (4),
pull it and disconnect it from the bulb (5).
Rotate the bulb socket (6) anticlockwise
and extract it from the reflector.
Extract the bulb (5).
For the reassembly:
NOTE
Insert the bulb (5) in the reflector,

by
by making the two elements (7) on the bulb
coincide with the respective guides (8) on
the reflector.
Position the bulb socket (6) in the
reflector and rotate it clockwise.
Connect the bulb electric connector (4).

LOW/HIGH BEAM BULBS
Rotate the bulb socket (9) anticlockwise
and extract it from its seat.
Slightly press the low/high beam bulb
(10) and rotate it anticlockwise, extract it
and replace it with a new one of the
same type.
PARKING LIGHT BULBS
!
CAUTION
To extract the bulb socket, do not pull
its electric wires.
Grasp the bulb socket (11), pull it and
take it out of its seat.
Extract the parking light bulb (12) and
replace it with a new one of the same
type.
