Operation
Working environment
Ensure the product operates within suitable environmental conditions (-10°C to + 40°C, relative humidity 70%).
Using it in extreme conditions may reduce the service life of the hydraulic cylinders.
For proper functioning, all hydraulic cylinders must be placed on a flat, solid surface. Placing it on loose or
sandy ground may lead to damage.
Installation instructions
1. Inspect the hydraulic cylinder thoroughly for any external transport damage before unpacking.
2. Ensure all components are free from dust, hazardous materials, and moisture. Verify that hoses, pipes, and
hydraulic parts are clean and free from any unsuitable liquids, abrasive particles, or contaminants. Confirm
that all hoses, pipes, and valves are properly connected.
3. Before installation, lubricate all bearings and pins (if applicable) on the hydraulic cylinder.
4. Ensure no lateral loads act on the cylinder's centre section. All load forces must align fully parallel to the
cylinder's axis, as lateral or radial loads can lead to irreversible damage.
5. Attach the quick connector of the pump to the hydraulic cylinder. Select the desired position, then tighten
the hydraulic pump drain screw on the hydraulic pump to begin operation.
6. Secure all hydraulic connections, and fully hand-tightening couplers to ensure proper oil flow between the
pump and cylinder.
7. After use, to lower the piston rod, turn the manual oil control knob slightly counterclockwise. This allows
the hydraulic cylinder to release pressure, causing the piston rod to gradually descend. DO NOT Release it
too quickly, which may cause a dangerous sudden drop.
Note: The product features an automatic retraction function. Simply release the switch, and the extended
portion will automatically align.
WARNING!
Keep clear of the piston rod's path and exercise caution when connecting hose couplings.
Note that adding attachments or extensions to a hydraulic system reduces the cylinder's capacity to that
of the lowest-rated component in use. To prevent plunger rotation during attachment, extend the
plunger and apply sufficient pump force to secure it while adding the attachment or extension.
Leakage check
1. Inspect visually for any leaks around the hydraulic cylinder.
2. If no leaks are observed, conduct a low-pressure test (up to 25% of the rated pressure).
3. Test the cylinder in both extended and retracted positions, holding each for 5 minutes to confirm stable
pressure.
4. Perform a high-pressure test (design pressure) with the cylinder fully extended and retracted, holding each
position for 5 minutes to verify the pressure stability at specified levels.
5. Once all tests are completed with no detected issues, the hydraulic cylinder is ready for use.
