Checklist for the K12-14B 14" Metal Chop Saw
Daily Maintenance:
1. Inspect Abrasive Wheel:
Check for cracks, wear, or damage.

Ensure the wheel is tightly secured and replace if necessary.

2. Check the Blade Guard:
Confirm the v-belt guard and blade guard are functioning and not damaged.

Adjust if needed for proper safety.
3. Clean Cutting Area:
Remove metal debris, dust, and sparks from the saw table, cutting area, and

surrounding floor to prevent accidents and improve performance.
4. Inspect Power Cord:
Check the power cord and plug for damage or fraying. Replace immediately if

there are signs of wear.
Weekly Maintenance:
1. Check V-Belt Tension:
Ensure the V-belt is properly tensioned. Adjust if necessary to prevent
o
slipping and maintain cutting efficiency.
2. Inspect Belt Guard:
Inspect the spark guard for wear and ensure it's adjusted correctly to deflect
o
debris away from the operator.
3. Inspect and Tighten Bolts:
Ensure all mounting bolts, fasteners, and nuts are tight and secure to avoid
o
vibration during use.
