HACH TU5300SC TURBIDITY CELL CLEANING
NOTE: Always use proper PPE when performing this procedure.
NOTE: Some of your plants will have the 200SC controller and others
will have the 4500SC controller. This procedure uses the 200SC
controller
1.
Before starting the analyzer cell cleaning, record the
present process turbidity reading on the analyzer.
2.
The following keys will be used in this procedure:
MENU key
UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT scroll key
ENTER key
3.
Press the MENU key.
4.
Scroll down to SENSOR SETUP with the DOWN
ARROW key.
5.
Press the ENTER key.
6.
Scroll down to DIAG/TEST with the DOWN ARROW
key.
7.
Press the ENTER key.
8.
Scroll down to MAINTENANCE with the DOWN
ARROW key.
9.
Press the ENTER key.
10. Scroll down to VIAL CLEANING with the DOWN
ARROW key.
11. Press the ENTER key.
12. The next screen that appears instructs the operator
to SWITCH OFF THE INFLUENT FLOW AND OPEN
THE PROCESS HEAD.
13. Close off the sample flow into the analyzer.

  • Page 2 HACH TU5300SC TURBIDITY CELL CLEANING 14. Loosen the three knurled screws to remove the process head. 15. Place the process head in the maintenance rack. 16. Remove the cell cover and empty any water in the flow cell to prevent any water spilling on the top of the instrument.
