For detailed information about these tests and their operation, see the 28000-4A-TEST manual, Section 3.3, Card FAT. • Filter Frequency Response (Amplitude and Match) The Filter test consists of two elements: a filter frequency response test and a composite match test.
- Page 12 28000-5-TEST General Information Page 6 • IEPE Operation The IEPE Operation test measures the accuracy of the IEPE current on cards equipped with IEPE current sources. • IEPE Gain The IEPE Gain test measures the gain of a channel in IEPE mode for cards equipped with IEPE current sources.
- Page 13 Test System Hardware 28000-5-TEST System The Precision 28000-5-TEST test system consists of a high-performance digital multimeter, a waveform generator, a cable set, and rack mount adapters for the devices. The 28000 GUI software controls the function of both the digital multimeter and the waveform generator via an Ethernet interface.

The 28000-M3 and the 28000-M5 chassis, and also the 28316C card, require different ref- erence cables. See Table 1 for assistance in selecting the correct reference cable for your test setup.
