OPERATION

PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
Before using the appliance for the first time, wipe the housing, coffee hopper, knife and grinder lid with a damp soft cloth, then dry.

  • Install the device on a level surface.
  • Pour the coffee beans into the grinding glass.
  • Install the transparent lid, align the triangle on the lid with the "O" mark.
  • Insert the plug into the socket.
  • Fix the motor base with one hand, turn the cover clockwise to the "I" position and hold it with the other hand. The device will start working.
  • Release the cover - it will return to the «O» position. The device will stop working. If you want to continue, turn the cap clockwise again and hold it in the "I" position.

MAINTENANCE

  • Ensure that the unit is turned off and disconnected from power supply before cleaning. Do not submerge the unit and its power cord in water or other liquids.
  • Rinse the cap in warm water with a small quantity of detergent and wipe it dry.
  • Remove the coffee residue with a brush; do not touch the sharp blades with your hands.
  • To remove the smell and nut residues grind a teaspoonful of baking sods, then thoroughly wipe the bowl clean.
  • Wipe the outer surface with a soft cloth.
  • Coil up the power cord and put the unit away for storage.

SUGGESTIONS

  • Always keep the container lid tightly closed to retain the taste and flavor of the coffee beans.
  • Grind the coffee directly before consumption.
  • The quantity of the coffees beans should not exceed the maximum mark on the container. The reference ration is 1 teaspoon of coffee per cup. You will find the optimum ratio over time.
  • The fineness of the grind will depend on the grinding time.
  • Do not leave the coffee inside the bowl after grinding; otherwise it will lose its flavor and fresh taste. Wash the bowl, cap and blades directly after use.
  • The unit is designed for grinding dry brittle foods. Do not use it for grinding products containing large quantities of oil, such as peanuts, and hard foods such as rice and sugar. Sugar will melt under heat and can block the grinder motor.

The appliance purchased by You complies with all official safety standards applicable to electric appliances in the Russian Federation.
The following requirements should be strictly observed in order to avoid situations hazardous for human life and health, as well as premature failures of the appliance:

  1. Carefully read the present manual before putting the appliance into operation.
  2. Retain the present manual, cash voucher and the packaging
  3. If lost, the present user manual will not be renewed and the guarantee will become void. Use the appliance only for its intended purpos.
  4. Do not place the appliance near heat sources, do not expose it to direct sunlight and moisture (do not submerge it in water or other liquids). Do not touch the appliance with wet hands. In case of ingress of moisture or a leak from the appliance, immediately disconnect it from power supply.
  5. Do not place the appliance on soft, uneven, unstable surfaces. Do not cover the appliance.
  6. Always disconnect the appliance from power supply after use and before cleaning. When disconnecting the appliance from power supply pull the plug, not the cable.
  7. Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
  8. The appliance should not be used by physically, sensory or mentally handicapped persons (including children) or by persons without sufficient experience or knowledge, unless such persons are under supervision, or have been instructed on the use of the appliance, by the persons responsible for their safety. Take precautions not to let children play with the appliance.
  9. Regularly check the appliance and its power cord for damage. Do not operate the appliance if it is not working properly. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Apply to qualified technicians. If the power cable should be damaged, have it replaced by the Manufacturer, authorized service centre or similar skilled personnel to avoid dangerous situations.
  10. Use only original spare parts. Do not use accessories other than those included in the supply.
  11. Ensure that the power supply grid voltage corresponds to the one indicated on the appliance before operating it.
  12. Before first use ensure that the appliance is complete and properly assembled.
  13. Do not pull the power cable if it touches sharp edges, is jammed by any objects or entangled; do not allow the power cord to touch hot objects.
  14. In case of damage to the power cable or any other part of the appliance immediately disconnect it from power supply and apply to a service centre authorized by the Manufacturer. In case of an unauthorized intervention into the appliance or nonobservance of the operating requirements listed in the present manual the Manufacturer's warranty will become void.
  15. Connect the appliance only to power grid sockets equipped with earthing contacts, use only two-pole extension cables with 10A rating and an earthing conductor.
  16. Do not use multiple high-power appliances simultaneously – this may lead to malfunctions in residential power supply systems.
  17. The appliance may only be disassembled after the motor has come to a complete standstill.
  18. Do not use the appliance if:
    • the power cable is damaged;
    • the appliance has visible damage;
    • the appliance has been dropped;
    • the appliance has been exposed to moisture.
  19. Do not use the appliance at ambient temperatures below 0 °С and above 35 °С. If the appliance has been exposed to temperatures below 0°C for a prolonged time, place it in a heated room for at least 3 hours before first turning it on.
  20. Pull the power plug from the electric socket: if the appliance does not operate properly (excessive noise, vibrations, etc.); before disassembly or reassembly; after each use. Always disconnect the appliance from power supply it you should leave it unattended even for a short time.
  21. Special instructions for transportation (shipment) and sale: none.
  22. Should You decide to transfer the appliance to another person, please pass the present manual over along with it.

shock hazard ATTENTION! Risk of electric shock!
Do not wash the appliance with running water and do not submerge it and its power cable in water or other liquids. Should this happen, immediately disconnect the appliance from power supply, let it dry out completely and have it checked at the nearest service center.

ATTENTION! Risk of injury! Never touch the rotating blades with bare hands, replace attachments only after the motor has come to a full stop!


Fire hazard! Never allow the device to come into contact with flammable liquids and combustible materials!
