The Kinivo 560BNT 4K 60Hz HDMI Switch With Toslink enables up to five HDMI source devices (such as the DVD player, cable box, game console etc.) to be connected to a single HDMI input port on your HDTV or video projector, while the audio is extracted through Toslink. It can be used to expand the number of HDMI ports on a single input HDMI equipped video receiver with Toslink capability. It is an easy, convenient and inexpensive solution to expand your home theater setup.

The 560BNT Switch has five HDMI Input indicator lights on its front panel. When the Switch senses audio/ video transmission on one of its HDMI Input ports, the corresponding HDMI Input Indicator is illuminated in Red color. When an HDMI Input is selected for use, the corresponding HDMI Input Indicator is illuminated in Blue. The HDMI Input Indicator is not lit when there is no input signal or no HDMI cable is connected.
To select a HDMI input, press the 'SWITCH' button on the front panel of the HDMI Switch. Each press of the button progresses to the next active HDMI Input. Signal from the selected HDMI Input is sent to the Output port and its corresponding HDMI Input Indicator is illuminated in Blue.
There are also direct input selection buttons on the remote control (Buttons 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5). Pressing each button selects the corresponding HDMI Input port, no matter whether the port has an active input signal or not.
To enable or disable ARC, press the "ARC/Auto Switching" button on the front panel of the Switch. The ARC LED will turn Blue when enabled.
Note: ARC is enabled by default.
When auto switching is turned on, the 560BNT switch automatically senses input ports and switches to the input port source automatically in the sequence 1>2>3>4>5. It bypasses input ports without signal. When a new device is turned on, the switch automatically selects that input. For example, if you power on your cable TV, the HDMI switch will automatically switch to the cable TV. Turn the currently selected device off and the 560BNT switch automatically selects the next higher numbered input that has an active signal (1>2>3>4>5)
While Auto Switching is a convenient feature, it will not work with every HDMI input device because some cable TV boxes, streaming devices, game consoles, and similar devices don't ever really turn off their HDMI signal, even when they appear to be turned off or asleep. These devices transmit a blank HDMI signal or black screen to the TV through our switch, even when asleep or turned off.
Here is a list of popular devices that do not support Auto Switching:
Note: The Auto Switching function is enabled by default and the "Power" LED will emit a Blue light.
