Safety instructions

Although the product features high quality and safety standards, injuries or damage due to operating errors or
improper use cannot be ruled out. Therefore note the safety recommendations marked by the following symbols:
Caution!
Failure to observe can lead to slight to moderate personal injury and/or material damage.
Risk of burns or injury!
Failure to observe can lead to slight to moderate personal injury and/or material damage.
- Read these instructions for use carefully before using the fondue set for the first time.
- If the product is given to another person, ensure that the instructions are also included.
- Use the fondue set for the intended purpose only for cooking food in hot grease/cooking oil or broth as well
as dipping food in melted cheese.
- Use the included fondue pot only. This ensures that the pot has a safe stand on the warmer.
- Attention! Greases and oils may ignite when overheated. Use the fondue set under direct supervision only to
prevent it from overheating or boiling dry unnoticed.
- Keep the fondue set out of the reach of children.
- Keep a safe distance from flammable materials such as napkins, tablecloths, etc.
- The fondue pot is suitable for all kinds of cooktops including induction. Heat up the fondue pot only incrementally
to the desired temperature, particularly on induction cooktops. Avoid rapid heating.
- Select a cooking zone or cooktop that matches the bottom diameter of the fondue pot in order to save energy.
- When using a gas stove, adjust the flame so that the tips of the flame do not extend beyond the bottom of the
fondue pot.
- Do not heat up the fondue pot when it is empty and remove the empty pot from the stove/warmer immediately
if it is switched on or still hot.
- Be careful when placing the fondue pot on the stove. This applies in particular to stoves with ceramic glass
surfaces. In order to avoid scratching these surfaces, do not slide the fondue pot. Instead, pick it up and
carefully place it in the desired position.
- Thanks to the robust enamel layer, you can use conventional kitchen utensils. However, we recommend avoiding
objects with sharp edges and refraining from knocking the utensils off on the edge of the pot.
Safety instructions for the paste burner
- The paste burner may only be used by persons who are fit to operate it and are fully aware of and familiar
with the scope of the safety instructions specified in these instructions for use. Operation by children is not
recommended.
- The only fuel permitted is the fuel paste contained in the aluminium cup/goblet. When the aluminium cup is
exhausted, the fuel paste can be replenished.
