When you register for the MSN TV service, you give us your
name, address, phone number, and billing information.
We use this information to create your MSN TV account,
including your .NET Passport. In addition, we use your
ZIP code to provide local information on the home page
and in the News and Weather centers. You can choose a
different city any time by choosing News or Weather on
the home page.
We do not rent, sell, or give your information to any
company outside of Microsoft without your permission.
We use state-of-the-art online encryption to help ensure
that the information you give us during registration
remains safe and secure.

how we use your information and the steps we take to

How MSN TV keeps you
safe from viruses
Since your Internet player doesn't have a hard drive, it's
essentially immune from viruses, or malicious computer
programs people sometimes send through e-mail. In
addition, the e-mail program we use has built-in virus
protection. You don't need to worry about your Internet
player catching a virus.
