Disabling/Enabling Wireless Communication

<Only for model with wireless LAN, wireless WAN, and/or Bluetooth>
There are several ways of disabling and enabling wireless communication.
The wireless switch on the left side of the computer (below)
Wireless Switch Utility (
Settings in the [Advanced] menu of the Setup Utility (

The wireless communication can be enabled or disabled by connecting or disconnecting the LAN cable. (
The Wireless Switch
To disable all wireless communication

Slide the latch (A), open the cover and slide the switch (B) to OFF.
To enable wireless communication
1
Slide the latch (A), open the cover and slide the switch (B) to ON.
In the default setting, the wireless switch enables all wireless devices when it is
set to ON.
To check the wireless communication status

Click on the notification area and place the cursor over the Wireless Switch Utility
icon ( or
A tool tip appears.
