Operating Instructions
EXPANSION: Selects the zoom mode.
For PC1 input only
FULL: The image is expanded to 1680 x 1050, regardless of the resolution.
ASPECT: The image is expanded without changing the aspect ratio.
OFF: The image is not expanded.
NOTE: For PC1 input, Expansion is only available in DVI-HD mode. (see page 20)
For VIDEO1, VIDEO2, TV input
NORMAL: The picture is expanded to either the maximum vertical or horizontal screen size
allowable while maintaining the original aspect ratio without cropping
WIDE: The picture is expanded to its maximum horizontal screen size using non-linear scaling.
REAL: The picture is not expanded.
ZOOM: Either the horizontal or vertical size of the picture is expanded to fill the screen while
keeping the original aspect ratio. Part of the image may be cropped.
CUSTOM: The user can manually adjust the horizontal and vertical expansion ratio.
*1 Any size (Scale 1:1 to 2:1) can be selected.
*2 LCD Panel size is 16:10, therefore a 16:9 image will expand vertically in full screen mode.
NOISE REDUCTION (AV1, AV2, TV input only): Reduces the amount of "noise" in a video signal.
3DY/C (Video1, Video2, TV input only): Adjust the Brightness and Color levels.
I/P ON/OFF (Video1, Video2, TV input only): Select between Interlaced and Progressive Scan.
FILM MODE (Video1, Video2, TV input only): Optimized for watching video.

Control Systems (PC1, PC2 inputs only): Six color presets select the desired color setting

(sRGB and NATIVE color presets are standard and cannot be changed).
R,G,B: Increases or decreases Red, Green or Blue color depending upon which is selected.
The change in color will appear on screen and the adjustment level will be shown by the bars.
NATIVE: Original color presented by the LCD panel. This setting in not adjustable.
sRGB: sRGB mode dramatically improves the color fidelity in the desktop environment by using a single
standard RGB color space. With this color supported environment, the operator could easily and
confidently communicate color without further color management overhead in the most common situations.
NOTE: When MOVIE, GAMING, or PHOTO is selected as the DV MODE, "NATIVE" is selected
automatically as the color preset and cannot be changed.
