For specifying whether to enable on-screen display on the external monitor.
On : Turns on display.
Off : Turns off display.
For selecting the monitor type of the external monitor to be connected to the [A/V OUT] terminal.
Set this item according to the monitor to be used.
4:3 : Set this when connecting to a conventional monitor (4:3).
16:9 : Set this when connecting to a wide monitor (16:9).
Memo :
● When [System Definition] in the [Record Format] menu is set to SD (DV) , this item appears
as --- and cannot be selected.
For selecting the resolution of video output from the [COMPONENT OUT] terminal. Set this item
according to the monitor to be used.
480i : Set this when connecting to a monitor that supports 480i. Selectable when [Frame
& Bit Rate] is set to 60i , 60p , 30p , 24p .
576i : Set this when connecting to a monitor that supports 576i. Selectable when [Frame
& Bit Rate] is set to 50i , 50p , 25p .
720p : Set this when connecting to a monitor that supports 720p.
1080i : Set this when connecting to a monitor that supports 1080i.

● During [HDMI] output, this item appears as --- and cannot be selected.

480i : Set this when connecting to a monitor that supports 480i. Selectable when [Frame &
Bit Rate] is set to 60i , 60p , 30p , 24p .
480p : Set this when connecting to a monitor that supports 480p. Selectable when [Frame &
Bit Rate] is set to 60i , 60p , 30p , 24p .
576i : Set this when connecting to a monitor that supports 576i. Selectable when [Frame &
Bit Rate] is set to 50i , 50p , 25p .
576p : Set this when connecting to a monitor that supports 576p. Selectable when [Frame &
Bit Rate] is set to 50i , 50p , 25p .
Auto : Resolution is automatically set according to the connected monitor. Use this setting
under normal circumstances.
For setting the color format of HDMI signals.
RGB : Outputs RGB signals.
Auto : Outputs upon detecting YCbCr/RGB automatically according to the connected
monitor.
For setting the color range of HDMI signals. When connecting to a PC monitor, set this to On .
On : Set this when connecting to a PC monitor.
Off : Set this when connecting to a conventional monitor.
For setting the audio sound of the headphone.
Mix : Outputs mixed sound.
Stereo : Outputs stereo sound.
