BATTERY
When the power
is ON, the CPU is automatically
reset under the following conditions:
—
The backup battery is empty.
—
Static or magnetic field has caused a data error
in the CPU RAM.
1) Turn OFF the power.
2) While pushing and holding [SOL/MONITOR]
and [LOCK], turn ON the power.
To exchange 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25kHz tuning steps
for 12.5 or 25 kHz steps (and vice-versa), reset the
CPU as follows:
1) Turn OFF the power.
2) While pushing and holding [SOL/MONITOR]
and one of the following switches, turn ON the
power.
e VHF band 5 kHz > 12.5bkHz
:
[PRIO]
VHF band 12.5 kHz > 5 kHz
:
[HI/LO]
UHF band 5 kHz ^ 12.5 kHz
:
[BAND]
UHF band 12.5 kHz ^ 5 kHz
:
[TS]
The life of the lithium backup battery is usually
more
than
five
years.
When
the
battery
is
exhausted,
the transceiver operates
normally
but
the
CPU
does
not
retain
the
contents
of the
memory.
