If the temperature of the connected accessory exceeds the maximum of 40°C, the AlphaCore
Controller will alarm with the repeating beep, the associated box will flash red, and the accessory must
be disconnected from the AlphaCore
any remaining accessories.
Should an accessory register greater than 43°C all power will be cut from the AlphaCore
represent a failure of one or more of the following: the warming system, the accessory cut-out, the temperature
management circuit or the accessory thermistor. The system will shut down.
The AlphaCore Controller can be reinitiated providing all the remaining accessories are within the normal

temperature range.

User Selectable Options

The 'cog' icon to the top left of the screen is for activation of the
settings menu. Pressing this once changes the display to view user
selectable parameters. These are:
• °C or °F
• decimal point or comma
• screen locked or unlocked
The current active settings will be highlighted in green. To change a
setting, press the alternative next to it. If no change is made within
30 seconds, the screen will default to the general display.
To confirm a change, press the 'tick' icon to return immediately to
the general display.
If the screen lock icon is activated, when returning to the main
display a 'padlock' icon replaces the up/down arrows and the
settings icon is faded: no changes are now possible.
To release the device from the locked status, press the padlock icon
for 5 seconds, a green square will surround the icon during this time
and the display will then become active. The up/down arrows and
settings icon will be displayed as normal and changes can now be
made. The screen will automatically return to the locked status after
5 seconds of inactivity.
To remove the screen lock application, unlock the screen as
described, touch the settings icon and in the settings menu, select
the unlock icon followed by the tick icon: the display will now return
to unlocked.
