SLE6000N
The Quick Reference Guide for the SLE6000N is not a replacement or
substitute for the Instructions for Use. It is for informational purposes
only. Any use of the device requires full understanding and strict
observation of the Instruction for Use.
Setting up the SLE6000N for Non Invasive ventilation
1.
Plug in the power cord and connect air & oxygen hoses to
supply.
2.
Insert exhalation block to the ventilator.
3.
Connect a dual limb or single limb circuit. Prepare
humidifier and connect humidification heater wires and
temperature probes to circuit.
4.
Press the power button at the front for 2 seconds to power
on.
5.
The ventilator will perform a series of self tests, including
high, medium and low alarms sounds and lights.
6. Select Mode
7. Options for dual limb (nCPAP, NIPPV & NIPPVTr) and
single limb non-invasive (nCPAP, DuoPAP, O2 Therapy) are
labelled.
8. Select ventilation mode from options dependent on the
connected circuit.
9. Set the parameters as required and confirm with the

20. Insert the SpO2 monitoring cable in the rear of the
ventilator.
21. Connect appropriate sensor to the end of the cable
22. Apply sensor to patient
23. Go to the Utilities tab and select SpO2.
24. Select the appropriate SpO2 target range for the patient
and confirm with the Green Tick.
25. Select Layout, Waveforms and the edit button. Switch on
SpO2 and confirm with the
screen.
