FEED
A
Gradually creates feedback, intensifying
the phase effect and making it more
resonant.
VOLUME
B
Sets the output loudness. Wombtone has
an internal voltage doubler and is capable
of producing a substantial volume boost.
MIX
C
Sets the balance between the dry and
phase-shifted signals. Around noon you
will get classic phasing effects, while at
100% you can explore more unique and
subtle phase vibrato sounds.
STAGE / TAP TOGGLE
D
Selects the number of stages, from the
subtle and vibe-like 2-stage phasing
up to the syrupy and detailed 6-stage
phasing. This toggle's function can also
be changed via dip switch to control the
tap division instead.
The swirling sounds of the 70s, at your fingertips.
Wombtone is back with some new tricks, thanks to our friend Billy Strings.
The Billy Strings Wombtone collects multiple styles of phasing in one
place, using a rich, all-analog signal path – and now, envelope control.
If there's a phase sound you're dreaming of, it's probably in here.

RATE

C
Sets the speed of the modulation. You
can extend the range further by engaging
the SLOW dip switch.
MODUSHAPE SECTION
F
These four controls are used to design the
F
modulation shape.
DEPTH
- Controls the range of the sweep.
FORM
- Sets the center point of the
waveform, allowing you to skew it.
TOGGLES
- Separately chooses the
shapes of the front and back halves
of the wave.
TAP
G
Lets you manually set the speed of the
modulation. Tap twice at your chosen
speed and tap tempo will replace the
RATE knob setting.
