1. Removo the exterior and interior packaging. Check that ice basket and ice scoop are
included. If any parts are missing, please contact customer service.
2. Clean the Interior with lukewarm water and a soft doth. You may wish to run the self-dean
function (see page 6). Take out the ice basket and dean it.
3. Find a location for your ice maker that Is protected from direct sunlight and other sources of
heat (le.: stove, furnace, radiator). Place the Ice maker on a level surface Maker sure that
there Is at least 5 Inches of space between the back and sides of your Ice maker and the
wall.
4. Allow one hour for the refrigerant to settle before plugging ice maker in.
5. The appliance must be positioned so that the plug Is accessible.

1. This unit should bo property grounded for your safety The power cord of the appliance is
oqulppod with a three-prong plug which mates with standard throe prong wal outlets to
minimize the possibility of electric shock.
2. Plug your appliance Into an exclusive, properly Instated, grounded wall outlet. Do not under
any drcumstancos, cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord. Any
questions concerning power andtor groundtog should be drected toward a certified
electrician.
3. This appliance requires a standard 110-120 volt. 60Hz electrical outlet with three-prong
ground.
CLEANING AND MAINTAINING YOUR ICE MAKER
Beforo using your ice maker, you are strongly recommended to dean It thoroughly.
1. Take out the toe basket
2. Cloan the Interior with diluted detergent, warm water and a soft doth.
3. The outside of the Ice maker should be cleaned regularly with a mdd detergent solution and
warm water.
4. Dry the Interior and exterior with a soft doth.
5. When the machine Is not In use. open the water drain cap to completely drain the water
reservoir.
Your ice maker also indudes a -sen-dean' function. This function can provide better internal
cleaning. To use the self-dean cyde, follow the below steps:
1. Take out the loe basket
2. Add a mid cleaning solution mixture to the water reservoir. We suggest a 10:1 ratio of water to
eaher white vinegar or lemon juice.
3. Plug In the unt. press and hold the CLEAN button tor about 6-7 seconds, then release. The unit
automatical enter seif-dean program This process takes approximately 5 -6 minutes.
When the ae«-deen program la finished, the unit w« automatically power off. NOTE: The unit must be
off to run the self-dean cyde
4. During this process, the tofiowmg symbols will display In the LCD window:

5. Alter the SeH-Oean program Is completed, unplug the unit and drain oulthe water by
unplugging the drain cep on the aide. Then replace the drain cep.
6. Add fresh water to Vie water reservoir, up to tho wator level mark.
7. Plug In toe unit end repeat the SeB-Clean process by repeating Heps 3 to 5. This will rinse out
the Ynegarlemon residue.
