    Instinct Powerplay Platform Manual SPECIFICATIONS AND DIMENSIONS Reach-Adjust Headset All frames are equipped with reach adjust headsets to fine tune the reach. Installed on the frame is a 0mm / neutral headset. In the small parts box added with every frameset and complete bicycle, there is an additional set of 5mm headset cups that can be used to make reach adjustments.

These bearings are carried by cups that have a very firm press fit into the shock shaft. Too much compression control and the fork or shock will move too slow and the force of the impact will rely too much on the tire and your body to absorb the movement.     Instinct Powerplay Platform Manual RIDING THE BIKE Warning Make sure the brakes are applied before putting any pressure on the pedals, or even resting your foot on the pedals. The Powerplay Drive uses a sophisticated torque sensing circuit to deliver smooth, instant, natural feeling power. This circuit is very sensitive, so you must be careful to ensure the bike does not accelerate away from you when stopped.
  • Page 35 Instinct Powerplay Platform Manual RIDING THE BIKE The Dyname S4 Lite system features an adjustable Kid Mode which allows you to set a speed and power limit on your Instinct Powerplay SL bike. To activate the KID MODE, hold the button on the micro-remote and access the settings.

    Instinct Powerplay Platform Manual ASSISTANCE ADJUSTMENT Assist levels can be adjusted at the start or at any time during the ride. The Dyname S4 Lite system can hold 3 different assistance maps in its memory: a default FACTORY map, and two customizable tunes. The rider can select between the maps depending on how they want the drive system to react.

    • If your battery or charger shows any signs of damage, do not use it, and immediately bring your bike to your authorized Rocky Mountain retailer for inspection.
  • Page 39 Instinct Powerplay Platform Manual BATTERY When the battery is nearing its full charge, it the system will slow the charging rate down to top up and balance the cells. The charger may alternate between “charging (red)” and “full (green)” led, at 30 second intervals, for 30 minutes. If the LED remains green for more than 5 minutes, the battery is fully charged.
