ABBy
™
Patient User Guide
Helpful tips before you get started:
• Before reapplying/repositioning ABBy, make sure your skin is free of
moisture, lotion, and/or dry skin flakes.
• ABBy can be readjusted as needed. If you take ABBy off completely, be
mindful that reapplication is easiest with the help of a second person.
• If needed, restore the adhesiveness by washing the adhesive side with
mild soap and water. Before reapplying, rinse soap off and pat the
device dry with a towel.
• If your physician has approved you to shower, ABBy can be worn
while showering.
Repositioning ABBy
Follow these steps if you want to adjust and/or reposition without fully removing it.
1. Position
While in a flat or reclining position, grab
each top corner.
4. Tension
To reposition, pull the ABBy up either by
walking the device up from the side edges
and smoothing it to your skin as you go up,
or by pulling up from the top corners and
attaching it just under the breasts.
2. Pull Down & Dry
Gently pull down until your navel is fully
visible. Make sure your skin is thoroughly dry.
5. Apply & Smooth
Once proper retraction is achieved, smooth
the ABBy down across skin. Make sure the
edges are smoothed down well.

ABBy, look in a mirror to make sure that
you have a full view of the incision.
