    Do not wear loose clothing. • Only adults may control the hand winch. • Only use the hand winch to suspend Roxell drinking, heating or nesting lines. • Only use the hand winch with the supplied handle. • Always check the condition of the hand winch and the cable before use.

    Roxell – 025 – 4823 General description of Sparkcup Sparkcup is an automated drinking system with cups for broiler breeders, broilers, layers and turkeys. Sparkcup is the solution for poultry farmers who require a large water flow - up to 700 ml per minute.

Alters the taste, resulting in decreased water consumption. Impact on system Cause: Gelatinous compounds. Effect: Harmful to nipples, electric water valves if used.
  • Page 12 NOTE: For long supply lines, consider pressure loss along the line. The final result must be a constant water supply of 10 l/min at each Sparkcup pressure regulator, at a constant water pressure of 2,5–3 bar. NOTE: •...
  • Page 13 Teflon Pump House In both cases, the water supply to the water panel of each poultry house must be at least 10 l/min per Sparkcup line at a constant water pressure of minimum 3 bar. NOTE: If the main water supply is not sufficient, you should install a water tank with pump in each house.

Connection between water panel and pressure regulators To prevent pressure and capacity loss in the supply tubes between the water panel and the pressure regulators, use supply tubes as specified in the table.

  • Page 16 After 4 weeks, winch up the lines so that the cup edge is about 3 cm above the back of the birds. Thoroughly flush the lines after each medication or vaccination. NOTE: Always gradually adjust the water pressure and the line height. CAUTION: Always keep the house frostproof. Roxell does not take responsibility for defective cups or system in frosty weather.

    Sparkcup – Instructions for the user Roxell – 025 – 4823 To replace the valve Remove the cup. Remove the water pressure from the drinking line. Remove the valve (A) manually or with the special pliers. NOTE: Install a new sealing if necessary.
  • Page 19 Roxell – 025 – 4823 Sparkcup – Instructions for the user To put in place the satellite drinker Remove the cup and the nipple from the drinking line. Let the hose run over the suspension tube to put less lateral force on the connector.

Increase the pressure if the cups get too full. Pressure may vary according to circumstances, such as length of the drinking line, feed pressure and water consumption.
