My new yet unused processor turns on but will not turn off. If tap three times. Off it turns and then if I move it to store it it turns green light again. Next question is, do I need the app before I can hear anything? I put it on my magnet with lights on and no sound. why?

The Kanso 2 processor may not turn off if the triple-tap method is not performed correctly (three quick, firm taps) or if the auto-off feature is not enabled. You do not need the app to hear sound from it; the processor functions independently and processes sound when worn correctly. The app is optional and can be used to check status, but it is not required for hearing.
