Overview Thank you for purchasing an Avignon Electric Radiator. A fixed heating solution, available in 0.6, 0.9, 1.5, 1.8 kW models. These are suitable for application in both home and office environments. Please read and follow these instructions to ensure that installation and operation are as simple and safe as possible.

The appliance must be permanently connected to the electrical supply through an appropriately rated isolating switch with a contact separation in all poles. This appliance must be earthed. Only connect the appliance to an electrical supply that meets the specification detailed on the rating label.
1. Installation Ensure the mounting surface is suitable for the weight of the appliance. Ensure the mounting surface is suitable for the heat of the appliance. Ensure there are no hidden cables or pipework before commencing any drilling. This appliance is not designed for outdoor use or use in very damp environments. If the appliance is located in a bathroom, it must be installed so that switches and other controls cannot be touched by a person in the bath or shower.

2. Electrical Connection If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. The appliance must be permanently connected to the electrical supply through an appropriately rated isolating switch with a contact separation in all poles.

4. Preparing the Appliance Switching the Appliance On • Switch the power supply to the appliance on. • Turn the appliance on using the switch on the back right hand side of the appliance down near the power cable entry. The standby symbol will be displayed.

5. Operation Free Operating (Manual) Mode (Fr) • Free operating (manual) mode is the simplest way to use your appliance. No timers are running. The thermostat will control the heating element to reach and maintain the target temperature. • Whilst is displayed the appliance is turned on.

Setting the Target Temperatures for Timed Programme Mode • There are two target temperatures either of which can be chosen when the appliance is on in timed programme mode. These are comfort mode and eco mode The default factory settings are 22°C for comfort mode and 17°C for eco mode. It is recommended to change these settings to suit your needs.

Pre-set Timed Programmes • The appliance is supplied with 9 pre-set programmes. • Single short press , the middle panel of the display will flash. • Use the arrows to cycle through the available programmes P1- P9. • The pre-set programmes can be edited if minor changes are desired or a fully custom 24 - hour heating schedule can be created.

Setting a Custom Programme • P8 is supplied blank. To set a custom programme for any of the other programmes follow the ‘clearing a custom programme’ section before proceeding. • Select the operating mode (P1 - P9) programme to be edited and ensure this is visible on the display screen.

Setting a Weekly Programme Schedule • The weekly programme schedule allows you to programme the appliance, taking into account differences between weekdays and weekends. E.g. days 1 - 5 (Mon - Fri) set to programme 8 and days 6 - 7 (Sat - Sun) set to programme 9. •...
Frost Protection • The appliance will always provide frost protection whilst in standby mode or in timed programme off periods. Open Window Detection • Open window detection will detect any sharp drop in the room temperature due to an open window. This is designed to help reduce energy wastage, it is recommended to be set on.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance This appliance should only be installed and maintained by a competent person in accordance with any local electrical regulations. Ensure any future maintenance or modifications to the appliance complies with the guidelines in these instructions. Isolate the appliance from the electrical supply before performing any maintenance task.
