    Overview Thank you for purchasing an Aztec PTC Workshop Fan Heater. It will provide a portable heating solution in a workshop or garage environment. Please read and follow these instructions to ensure that installation and operation are as simple and safe as possible. Important Safety Points Do not use if there are visible signs of damage to the appliance.
  • Page 3 Only use this appliance on a horizontal and stable surface. The appliance must be oriented standing upright with the control knobs on the top of the appliance. The appliance must not be located immediately below a socket outlet. Do not use this appliance with a programmer, timer, separate remote control system or any other device that switches the appliance on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the appliance is covered or positioned incorrectly.

    1. Electrical Connection Do not use if there are visible signs of damage to the appliance. The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged the appliance should be scrapped. Avoid use of an extension cord, the extension cord may overheat and can increase the risk of fire.

    2. Operation Only use this appliance on a horizontal and stable surface. The appliance must be oriented standing upright with the control knobs on the top of the appliance. Some parts of this appliance can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.

    • Select the maximum heat setting from the thermostat dial. Once the desired room temperature is achieved adjust the dial down until a click is heard and the element light goes off. This will now maintain the current room temperature. Safety cut-out This appliance is fitted with a safety device which switches off the appliance if, for any reason it overheats.
