WLAN Sign-In

Before you can access the WLAN network, you must sign in. Your system adminstrator sets up your
phone for Wi-Fi connectivity. For information about enabling WLAN on your phone, the WLAN
security modes available on your phone, and the site survey that displays the access point information,
see your system administrator.

Sign-In for WLAN

1. Press the Applications button
2. Select WLAN Sign in. (Use the Navigation pad and Select button to scroll and select.)
3. Press the Sign in softkey.
After a successful login, the phone displays the Wi-Fi signal strength in the top right corner of the
phone screen. See the table below for the different types of Wi-Fi signals that appear on your phone.
Your phone notifies you about any Wi-Fi issue by displaying a visual notification on the phone screen.

Change WLAN Sign-In

1. Press the Applications button
2. Select WLAN Sign in. (Use the Navigation pad and Select button to scroll and select.)
3. Press the Select button and from the keypad, enter a user ID.
Use the
softkey to delete what is in the User ID field. Use the keypad to enter a user ID.
4. Press the down arrow on the Navigation pad to enter a password.
5. Press the Select button and from the keypad, enter a password.
6. Press the Sign in softkey.
