can't start machine after not using for 2 years. fuel tank was left empty. Put in fresh fuel. checked oil. Not sure where choke position and throttle position should be at startup.

To start a Billy Goat KV machine after it has not been used for 2 years, set the choke all the way to the front (engaged) and move the throttle from the stop position all the way forward. Pull the rope handle to start the engine. Once the engine catches, turn the choke off.

can't start. havent used in 2 or 3 years. fuel tank was left empty. put in fresh fuel today. checked oil. not sure which position is the correct position for the red choke switch. Should the throttle be slightly on or off. Can't find these answers in the manual.

    On-Board Chipper (TKV models only) Mesh Bag The KV unit comes standard with a mesh debris bag. These mesh bags are normal replaceable wear items. The bag can become heavy when overloaded with debris, especially wet debris. Frequently empty the debris bag to prevent overloading the bag and bogging down the unit.

    Assemble the Handles Note:  Figure 8 depicts handles on the KV push model. Self- propelled units will have a bail pre-installed on the upper handle. 1. Line up the holes on the upper (A, Figure 8) and lower handles (B).
