Physical Description
The DSS-IIDSS-2 is a 4-SU (7-in. [19.1 cm] high) enclosure that contains disk
drives in removable canisters, redundant power supplies, and connectors for data
cables and subsystem status cables.

The DSS-IIDSS-2 enclosure, shown in Figure 2, can contain a maximum of
eight field replaceable SCSI disk drives. The enclosure also contains two power
supplies, two cooling fans, internal SCSI cables, a warning and control system
(WACS) interface printed circuit board (PCB), and a backplane PCB; all are
field replaceable units (FRUs).
