Wireless Data Services
• Connect to the Internet.
Start the Dial-Up Networking session. Be sure that the phone is
connected to the computer with the data cable. After the connection is
made, the floppy disk icon will be present on the phone's display.
For more information, see "Starting the Internet Connection" on
page 47.
After successful installation, you can surf the Internet, send and receives
faxes and e-mail messages, and transfer files.

Installation Requirements

To run the installation program, you need the following:
• An iDEN plus series phone
• An data cable for your plus series phone
• An IBM ® -compatible PC with:
- An Intel ® 486 (or higher) processor
®
- Microsoft Windows
(Service Pack 3), Windows
Windows ® XP installed
- Minimum 128 MB of addressable RAM
- 1.44 MB 3.5-inch disk drive or CD-ROM drive
- 50 MB free hard-disk space
- Recommended: Mouse or compatible pointing device
• The installation software that came with your package
• Communication software
• An account with an iDEN carrier
