Service port USB 2.0 host port for setting up the controller and troubleshooting through a local connection to a computer, connecting to the TruVu™ interface, or the Carrier wireless service adapter. Universal inputs Inputs are configurable in the control program for 0–5 Vdc, 0–10 Vdc, thermistor, dry contact, or pulse counter.

CAUTION A touchscreen device can share a power supply with the Carrier controller if: • The power source shared by the controller and TruVu™ EQT3 Equipment Touch is AC power. • The power source shared by the controller and TruVu™ interface is DC power.
The TV-022-E2 is powered by a Class 2 power source. Take appropriate isolation measures when mounting it in a control panel where non-Class 2 circuits are present. • Carrier controllers can share a power supply as long as you: • Maintain the same polarity.
Carrier i-Vu® XT or TruVu™ devices on a single network and configure them from that page. You can connect the TV-022-E2 to a computer using either the Carrier wireless service adapter or a USB cable. NOTE You cannot access the Service port by plugging an Ethernet cable into Eth0 or Eth1.
Network tab You can use the controller setup Local Network tab to discover Carrier i-Vu® XT or TruVu™ devices on a single network. You can configure them and assign addresses to each one using one of the methods described below.
This allows you to identify the device on the controller setup Local Network page. Connect to the Service Port of one Carrier i-Vu® XT or TruVu™ IP device on the network. For details, see Addressing the TV-022-E2 through the Service port (page 8).

To communicate through the BACnet/USB Service port network You can communicate with the TV-022-E2 Service Port through Field Assistant using either the Carrier wireless service adapter or a USB cable. See Addressing the TV-022-E2 through the USB Service Port (page 8) to set up your connection to the web browser if you haven't already.
To get a Device Log If Carrier Technical Support instructs you to get the controller's Device Log containing diagnostic information for troubleshooting: Select the TV-022-E2 in the i-Vu® Navigation tree. On the Properties page, click Device Log.
Copy the newest driver and archive file to the root directory of a FAT32-formatted USB flash drive. NOTE To verify that you have the latest files, go to the Carrier Partner Community website. Compare the latest version to the TV-022-E2's driver in i-Vu®.
