1 Safety alerts, visual presentation and safety marking While reading these instructions, you will encounter various symbols, illustrations, and text layouts intended to help you navigate and understand the instructions. Their meaning is explained below. Safety alerts: Activities that present specific hazards (to life and limb or possible damage to property) are indicated by safety alerts. Al- ways be sure to follow the instructions given in the safety alerts.
• Unauthorized modifications and changes can have an unpredictable effect on safety and operation. Unauthorized modi- fications and changes are therefore prohibited. Only original SKF spare parts and SKF accessories may be used. • Any unclear points regarding proper condition or correct assembly/operation must be clarified. Operation is prohibited until issues have been clarified.
• Work on electrical components may be performed only in a voltage-free state and using tools suitable for electrical work. Do not touch cables or electrical components with wet or moist hands. • Fuses must not be bridged. Always replace defective fuses with fuses of the same type. •...

3 Purpose of the system Mobile Oil Conditioning Unit circulates the oil in the system and removes external contaminants, e.g. abraded particles and oxidized particles. Unit contains trolley which enables it’s moving to nearby oil reservoir. 4.2 Electrical connection WARNING Electrical connections may only be made by a qualified electrician. The supply voltage must be switched off before accessing any current-carrying parts of the unit. The supply voltage must be turned off before any product components are opened. Check motor’s direction of rotation and change electrical connection if needed.
4.2.1 Before startup Make sure that: • there is oil in the system. • pump inlet is always filled with oil. Air in the inlet line can cause problems at initial start-up. • all connections are at right locations and tightened properly. •...
4.2.2 Unit in operation Make sure that: • the fluid flows freely through the connections and that the connections do not leak. • the system is free from abnormal noise and vibrations. • the unit stands vertically & solidly on the floor •...
5 Maintenance 5.1 Electric motor and pump Electric motor and pump are maintenance free. 5.2 Filter element servicing A visual clogging indicator indicates when the filter element must be replaced. If the clogging indicator triggers an alarm during a cold start only, it is possible that the element does not need to be replaced yet. WARNING The hydraulic system must be switched off before any work is carried out on the filter.

10 Safe transporting & lifting WARNING If you need to lift the oil condition unit, the specified lifting points must be used. These speci- fied lifting points are marked in the picture below. WARNING Transport the filter unit only with the push handle and while rolling it along it’s own wheels. Fully empty the filter unit before transporting it or putting it into storage.
