Establish Connection 1. Download and install the latest Ez Utility. 2. Plug the USB cable of MT8225HF to the host PC 3. Enter Ez Utility. Select “New” as product type, “USB-HID” or “RS-232/USB-VCP” as interface according to the current interface. Then click “Save-Exit” to continue.

You can then print this configuration barcode or save it as a Word or PDF file, allowing you to easily „clone‟ the current settings to other scanners offline.

MT8225HF User’s Manual V1.0 Operation Mode By default the scanner operates in Trigger Mode, where RFID data is read only when the scan button is pressed. In Auto Mode, the scanner continuously reads RFID data without requiring the scan button to be pressed.
MT8225HF User’s Manual V1.0 Tag Info Tag Info specifies the portion of the tag that the scanner will read. By default, only the UID is read. To read the full or partial user memory, please choose “Read All Data Block”. To read NDEF data, please select “Read NDEF”.
MT8225HF User’s Manual V1.0 Scan Period (sec) In Trigger Mode, if the scan button is pressed but no tag is successfully read within the Scan Period, the period will terminate. To disable this timeout, set the Scan Period to 0 (continuous) for continuous scanning.
