PREFACE Safety Requirements READ BEFORE ATTEMPTING OPERATION OF INSTRUMENT The Chandler Engineering Model 3265 Wettability Tester is designed for operator safety. Any instrument that is capable of high temperatures should always be operated with CAUTION!! To ensure safety: • Locate the instrument in a low traffic area.

SECTION 2 – OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Section 2 – Operating Instructions Operation The mixer control includes four speed control buttons (P1-P4) located just below the display. The program buttons allow the mixer to operate at preset speeds for preset time intervals. Factory default settings for all program Buttons is 4,000 RPM for 15 seconds followed by 12,000 RPM for 35 seconds.

Basic hand tools. Cleaning and Service Tips Most of the problems that occur with the 3265 mixer motor are due to inadequate cleaning of the mixing blade assembly. If the blade assembly becomes contaminated with cement, the assembly will bind and cause the motor to overheat. The blending assembly, mixing cup and mixer base should be thoroughly cleaned after each use.

SECTION 3 – MAINTENANCE Adjusting Operational Parameters (Advanced) The mixer is equipped with factory default values for all operational parameters, which have been carefully selected for optimal operation of the unit. Although instructions for doing so are included here, it is generally not required or recommended to change these values. 1.
