Prior to use, read the operating instructions and keep these in a safe place. Ensure the operating instructions are always available during mounting, setup and servicing. For this reason you should archive a printed copy of the operating instructions. You can download the operating instructions from www.euchner.com. Operating Instructions Non-Contact Safety Switch CES-I-AP-.-C04/C14-… 6. Function The safety switch monitors the position of movable guards. The safety outputs are switched on/off when the actuator is moved to/removed from the actuating range. The system consists of the following components: coded actuator (transponder) and switch. Whether the device learns the complete actuator code (unicode) or not (multicode) depends on the respective version. -

Install switch so that the rear of the housing is entirely covered in order to protect it from Ì mechanical damage through impact. All connecting cables and plug connectors must be laid such that they are protected against mechanical damage. -
