PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOU BEGIN.
Note: If you vehicle has a winch or bumper other than factory, it may
have to be removed to install grille insert.
Caution: Wear eye protection when drilling.
Step 1. Remove the front grill from the vehicle. Open the hood and use
the support rod to hold the hood open. The grill is held on top by
plastic push rivets. The rivets will be re-used. Using a at blade
screwdriver pry the rivet up and out of the top of the grill. The
bottom of the grill is held in by spring clips, use caution when
removing. A at blade screwdriver may be used to help assist in
the removal. Unplug the markers light from the back of the
housings.
Step 2. Lay the grille with the front side down on a smooth at surface
that will not scratch the paint. A towel or cloth is recommended.
Lay the insert onto the back side of the grille matching the same
contour. Note that the area that has a small cutout in the insert
goes the driver side bottom corner.
Step 3. With the grille insert matched to the opening of the grille use one
of the braces to mark the mounting holes to be drilled. Hold the
brace between the 1st and 2nd grille cutout on the left side.
Apply pressure on the brace hold the insert ush to the grille.
Using a felt tip marker place a dot to mark the lower mounting
hole.
