    INSTRUCTIONS INSTALLATION WATER SUPPLY If water hardness tests higher than 3 GPG, install the Scaltrol Water Treatment system (see the Plumbing Options page) into the water line before the machine’s incoming CONNECTIONS: water connection point.     OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS OPERATION PREPARATION Before operating the machine, verify the following: 1. The sump strainer and pan strainer are in place and clean. 2. The drain stopper is installed. 3. The wash/rinse arms (one on top and one on bottom) are installed and secure. POWER UP To place the machine in standby, flip OFF/ON/FILL switch to ON position.

    DETERGENT CONTROL OPERATION DETERGENT Detergent use and water hardness are two factors that greatly contribute to the machine's operating efficiency. Using the proper amount of detergent can become a CONTROL source of substantial savings. A qualified water-treatment specialist can determine what is needed for maximum efficiency from the detergent.

    PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE MAINTENANCE PREVENTATIVE The manufacturer highly recommends that any maintenance and repairs not specifically discussed in this manual be performed only by QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONNEL. MAINTENANCE Performing maintenance on your machine may void your warranty, lead to larger problems, or even cause harm to the operator. So if you have a question or concern, do not hesitate to contact a QUALIFIED SERVICE AGENCY.
