INSTRUCTIONS INSTALLATION INSPECTION Before installing the machine, check the packaging and machine for damage. If the packaging is damaged, the machine might also be damaged. If there is damage to both the packaging and machine, do not throw away the packaging. The machine has been inspected and packed at the factory and is expected to arrive to you in new, undamaged Do not throw away the condition.
INSTRUCTIONS INSTALLATION WATER SUPPLY If water hardness tests higher than 3 GPG, install the Scaltrol Water Treatment system (see the Plumbing Options page) into the water line before the machine’s incoming CONNECTIONS: water connection point. A water shut-off valve should be installed to allow access for WATER HARDNESS service.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS OPERATION PREPARATION Before operating the machine 1. The sump strainer and pan strainer are in place and clean. 2. The drain stopper is installed. 3. The wash/rinse arms (top and bottom) are installed and secure. POWER UP To place the machine FILLING THE hold OFF/ON/FILL switch in FILL position for approximately 8–10 seconds.
Once the cycle is complete, open door (again careful of the dripping hot water) and remove rack of clean ware. Replace with a rack of soiled ware and close door. The On the I-E-LTH, choose Normal, Medium, or Heavy next cycle starts automatically.

DETERGENT CONTROL OPERATION DETERGENT Detergent use and water hardness are two factors that greatly contribute to the CONTROL • Hard water greatly affects the performance of the machine, causing the amount of detergent required for washing to increase. If the machine is installed in an area with hard water, the manufacturer recommends the installation of water treatment equipment.
