Installation Instructions
First shut off your water heating system then, with your mains stop cock closed,
open the lowest hot and cold taps in the house and allow to run until the cold
storage tank and pipes are empty (the hot water storage cylinder always remains
full).
Fitting isolating valves to the inlet feeds is recommended for ease of maintenance.
Remember to turn off the mains water supply before connecting to any existing pipe
work.
Fix the side valves to the basin, securing with the base rings from the top and the
washers and backnuts from the bottom. Confirm that water exits on side valves are
pointing to the center and fit the handles.
Screw the flexible hoses into the spout body, and fully hand tighten. Pass the body
base ring and o-ring over the flexible hoses and stud to form a seal on sink top. Pass
the tails and stud through the hole in the basin from above, and place the mixer in
position on the basin.
Slide the washer and retaining plate up the tails and secure fixing the nut tight.
Check that the body is correctly positioned and tighten fixing nut. The body needs to
be fixed firmly but do not over tighten as damage may be cause to the sink.
ATTENTION
Having first check all new connections, turn on the main stop cock, close all taps
except the mixer and as system starts to refill check for leaks.
Once you have satisfied yourself that there are no leaks, switch on the water
heating.
