    8.1 Level measurement applications Positioning The optimal location for NRE-4/NRE-6 (for a cylindrical tank) is at radius r = (0.3…0.5) R. It is always advisable to consider the radiation cone angle. The liquid surface must be perpendicular to the axis of the device.
