Getting Started

For the location of the keys, please refer to the product image at the
back of the cover page.
1. Remove the clear film label from the LCD screen by pulling the tab.
. Open the battery compartment located on the bottom side of the
unit. Install  x AA batteries according the polarity (+/- signs). Close
the battery door. The time, date, and temperature will be displayed
on the screen.

Radio-controlled clock

This clock is designed to automatically synchronize its calendar clock
once it is brought within the reception range of the 77. kHz DCF77
radio signal from Mainflingen, Germany.
First reception after installing the batteries
Once batteries have been inserted in the unit, the clock will search for
the DCF77 signal for the next 10 minutes. In optimal conditions, the
correct time will be displayed within  to  minutes. Successful signal
reception is indicated by the following icon: .
Within the first 3 hours
If the clock failed to receive the signal in the first reception after power-
up, it will search for the signal every 0 minutes until it is received.
After the first 3 hours
If no signal can be received within the first 3 hours, the clock will try
again every  hours. This operation will not stop until the signal can be
received.
Automatic time update
The clock will automatically update its time twice a day at 01:00 and
13:00.
