5.8.6 AMR Codec
AMR Codec helps you set the preference of all or each of the AMR codecs. If the AMR codecs are

disabled, 2N
EasyGate IP informs the network that the selected codec will not be used. Yet, the
network can request the codec if necessary.
Tip
•
It is recommened that the AMR codecs are disabled for a reliable DTMF
transmission.
5.8.7 Others
The Miscellaneous folder helps you set the other telephony parameters.
