    FLEX VENT CONNECTION Fig. # 17 It is preferred to attach venting before framing begins. Once the fireplace is in position proceed to attach the venting (see Fig #16). The flexible vent pipe may be stretched to accommodate various lengths of venting. Stretch and/or cut to length as required. The 4 inch flexible inner pipe must be centred inside the 8 inch pipe with pipe spacers provided.

    VENT TERMINAL INSTALLATION Fig. # 21 Where a vent pipe passes through a combustible wall, a wall thimble must be used to retain insulation and maintain a 1 inch clearance. The wall thimble may be cut to length for various wall thicknesses (see Fig. #18).

    MANUFACTURED (MOBILE) HOME Correct gas pressure requirement: In some jurisdictions, the Esteem Fireplace may be installed in Manufactured Homes after the "first sale". Consult local codes for Natural Gas Propane approval. The fireplace must be fastened in place. Install in accordance with the current standard Mobile Homes, CAN/ Min.

    BURNER REMOVAL Fig. # 31 Caution: Turn off gas and electrical power supply and allow ample time for the unit to cool before proceeding. The glass frame must be removed, if installed, to remove the burner from the firebox. The glass frame is held in place by two over-center latches located under the firebox.
