    2 Functional Principle 2.1 Use The GES 010 Gas Inlet System is used for reducing the pressure of gas mixtures from ≈1000 mbar to <10 mbar without permitting mass-dependent separation. One of its main applications is in mass spectrometry for analyzing gas mixtures at atmospheric pressure.
